Here are some photos of work that I've made in Iceland over the past two month. I have been staying in small fishing towns and just not I am realizing the huge influence it has had on my work. Iceland has been so good to me. I love the snow covered mountains, moss and lichen covered hills and thuva, warm people, vivid mythology, strange pieces of metal scapes everywhere, the 3 hour nights of May and the nothern lights of April.
A mobile update from Hrisey Iceland. I've been working on a couple harp forms that I have been working with in Icelandic clay. The clay here is very young and more like sand than clay. It has been a real challenge, but I've learned to work with the clay's natural tendencies.
